Lesson 7
Volume 21

Grow Up Triumphantly or Fall Away
Devotional Reading: Ephesians 4:1-15 Spiritual children and religious adolescents cannot understand the salvation, message, and doctrine of the Triumphant Church. The baptism of the Holy Ghost is only the beginning of a growth and development process that moves us from being immature children of God, to being full-grown sons and daughters of God. By being born into the overcoming body of Christ, we are expected to develop mentally and spiritually so we can be able to understand some of the most astonishing mysteries of God and demonstrate some, of the supernatural powers of God. If the members of the church fail to mature, the congregation fails to mature, and the body has the spiritual appearance of a dwarf, gnome, or midget.
No one can grow up in Christ unless they really want to grow. The leadership of the church does not have time to change spiritual diapers and religiously potty train members that have been in the church long enough to know God for themselves. For having a zeal of God with no knowledge leads to indifference, negligence, stagnation, and mediocrity. Therefore, we are being challenged to forget past failures, mistakes, transgressions, and achievements for the purpose of pressing our way into the greatest accomplishments in Christ. The Holy Ghost did not come on the day of
Pentecost to spiritually breast feed
the disciples. Therefore, He is not here now to pass out any pacifiers.
The growth in the church that carries us out of the Gospel of the Kingdom and into the Everlasting Gospel takes time, patience, practice, repetition, determination, persistence, encouragement, and focus. Sometimes growth can be painful, hard and difficult, but it is never impossible. Comfort zones and predictable circumstances cause resistance and fear because growing spiritually moves us into some unfamiliar territory. A committed mind, a positive spiritual attitude, and a higher level of willingness will cause our faith to attract universal cooperation and see the adventure of becoming a manifestation of divine victory. Opportunities of empowerment that cause us to keep moving forward in God's natural and spiritual kingdom are always looking for us, and always making themselves available. Therefore we must maintain a "yes 'we can" mentality and be ready to grow up and do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Lesson
on Scripture: 1 Peter 2:1-3; Hebrews 5:5-14; Hebrews 6:1-6
Lesson Outline:
Don't Drink Milk Forever. (1Peter
2:1-3)
There are manifold
stages of spiritual growth. Every new creature in Christ
must begin their development with the
basic elementary truths and principles in kingdom gospel. Milk is only an
introductory level of biblical and
religious understanding. It -is especially
meant for new membership and designed
to establish them in the truth. Like an
infant needs fresh milk to build a healthy strong body, new members need to
understand the basic facts and fundamentals of the Gospel of the Kingdom to develop a solid spiritual mind.
God anoints a special servant to teach and instruct the basic principles of the doctrine of Christ and that servant must be fully matured in the Holy Ghost life to successfully do the work. The instructor knows that every member is chosen by God to grow up into the fullness of Christ, and become custodians of the Everlasting Gospel. He knows when someone is ready to move into a higher level of truth by the way they perfect themselves in the fruit of the Spirit. The milk of the word is only a temporary supply of spiritual nutrition for those who are willing to begin a journey that demands growth, development, maturity and perfection.
11 Prepare
yourself For Some Strong Meat. (Hebrews 5:5-14)
There are some areas of profound knowledge and direct intelligence in the Everlasting Gospel that are too advanced
for the members who are not ready to receive. Meat represents the highest and
deepest levels of written, spoken and revealed truth that God wants us to know. The meat of the word moves us from faith to knowledge, from water baptism to Holy Ghost and fire baptism, and from repentance to perfect salvation. Those who walk in total obedience to God, and are firmly committed to their divine vocation will master the kingdom Gospel (milk) and have to be fed the nutrition of the Everlasting Gospel
(meat). When all the things that makes an individual spiritually childish are put
away, the meat of the word becomes the sound doctrine that gives a greater supply of strength, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and stability.
The strong meat of the Everlasting Gospel carries us into the understanding of supernatural mysteries of God. The unspoken, unwritten, and hidden information of God's mind is dangerous to those who are not strong enough to accept it. God knows some people will always be learning, but never corning into the knowledge of truth. Until the internal man is properly nourished with strong meat, he or she will not be able to exceed the religious righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees.
III. Turn Evolution Into Spiritual Evolution. (Hebrews 6: 1-6)
When we leave the principles of the doctrine of Christ, we are not separating or divorcing ourselves from the foundation that Jesus laid. We have been anointed to build on everything that Jesus taught, and elevate ourselves into a higher level of wisdom and power where repentance, salvation, faith, laying on of hands, baptisms, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgments are no longer needed. A blueprint for a house has instructions for building a foundation. After the construction company precisely lays the foundation, that part of the blueprint is no longer needed.
The perfection of the soul and body can become a permanent experience to everyone that is spiritually mature enough to stay free from the negative and opposing forces of human and sinful nature. If peace, love, illumination, joy,
love, holiness and righteousness are not the controlling powers of the soul and body, then nothing is able to establish divine nature and perfection in a human being. Divine health, everlasting love and perfection are the most powerful attributes of God's consciousness. Those attributes are being poured into our lives for the expansion of a kingdom that will never be destroyed. The Holy Ghost is in us to help us achieve recognition, conscious direction, and constructive use of the immortal energy that God has invested in us. When we fully learn to properly maintain the power that is at work in us, we will be able to demonstrate mastery and dominion over all things on this earth, and perfection will give us conscious control over all natural and spiritual forces of life
To Think About
How much time did you spend this week watching TV? How much time watching sports or entertainment, or reading the paper, magazines, and the Internet? How much time did you spend on some hobby or outside interest, that may not be immoral but is not necessary? How many hours did you spend studying your Bible? How much fasting and praying have you done lately? How many services of the church did you attend? How many did you miss that you could have attended? Which do you nourish the best: your spirit or your body? Are you feeding your mind on God's written, spoken and revealed word or human pleasures? Triumphians and Christians need regular nourishment from God's word and consciousness to grow.
Revealed Verse: If I choose ignorance instead of growth, I will sin against God and my own life naturally and spiritually.
